Description

Singapore is the first ASEAN country to introduce carbon tax. This implementation will require the companies to account and report direct and indirect emissions and set out requisite mitigation and management strategies. It is expected that countries of the ASEAN region will follow Singapore which would eventually pave the foundation for a regional carbon market to grow. Concurrently the international investors and other stakeholders (i.e., trading partners, consumers) are increasingly vigilant about the decarbonization commitment and strategies of companies. Hence, a which makes carbon accounting and pruedent

The program is primarily designed for Singapore and ASEAN companies to get started with their decarbonization journey, addressing the requirements from the perspective of regulators, investors and other relevant stakeholders.

It covers the fundamental issues in carbon management for the companies such as carbon market mechanism, pricing carbon credit, carbon accounting and reporting with CDP questionnaire and GHG protocol, financial implications of climate change among others.

Hence, it provides you with the requisite knowledge to customize your carbon accounting and management frameworks in line with the international standards and regulatory guidelines.
