The listed companies in Singapore and ASEAN region have been using the GRI framework for reporting sustainability performances for more than a decade. In recent years, regulators and investors are seeking more climate related disclosure pressing for better understanding of the climate risk and its financial implications, requiring companies to transition to the TCFD framework. With the introduction of carbon tax, national commitments to reduce CO2 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) must be addressed by the local businesses with a more comprehensive ESG metrics.
In the course, major international sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, IIRC will be discussed including TCFD recommendations, CDP questionnaires, and GHG protocol to develop deeper understanding of the structure and elements of the ESG metrics. After attending the program, the participants should be able to demonstrate better understanding of the concept & measures of sustainability, corporate sustainability & ESG performance management.
