Asif Iqbal Siddiqui

Dr. Siddiqui is an environmental economist and a sustainability expert with nearly 25 years of experience working internationally with industry partners, government agencies, and academic institutions. He started his career in 1997 as an Environmental Economist with the IUCN – World Bank’s Green Accounting Initiative, advocating for the business case for sustainable development. He has since then participated in many high-level policy negotiations, including at the United Nations, the Conference of the Parties (COP), and provided advisory services to governments and industries on climate finance, energy transition, carbon market, social development, impact evaluation, and sustainable development.
In 2022, he was invited as the keynote speaker at the 36th Singapore Economic Roundtable’s special session on Sustainability Policy. In 2024, he received the SICCI’s inaugural Sustainability Award from the Honorable President of Singapore for his contribution to innovative sustainability solutions.

Osman Faiz

Mr Faiz has over 25 years of international experience, with leadership roles at Standard Chartered (CIO, COO, Global Head – Core Banking) and Permata Bank. He helped establish AMTD Digital in Singapore and served as Director of the Singapore Clearing House Association, and was awarded the IBF Fellow in Technology and Operations. He co-chaired the national KYC 2.0 initiative with MAS and ABS. A recognized thought leader in sustainable finance and digital banking, he also champions diversity and inclusion.
He received the Gender Equality Impact Award from Singapore’s President and was named a Global Top 50 Champion of Women in Business by Financial Times and INvolve.

Dr. Zaman is a leading circular economy and zero-waste expert with extensive experience in demand-driven research and capacity building, working in partnership with governments, businesses, industries, communities, and global agencies. Recognised among the world’s top 2% scientists by Stanford/Elsevier, he is ranked as the 2nd most highly cited researcher in ‘zero waste’ and 3rd in ‘sustainable waste management’ on Google Scholar. His expertise extends to designing and delivering training programmes that translate cutting-edge research into practical, scalable solutions for sustainability challenges. Dr. Zaman has served on prestigious technical working groups, including the Australian Packaging Covenant Organization (2022–2023) and the United Nations Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition (2022–2025), where he contributed to shaping policy, innovation, and best practices for a sustainable future.

Ms Meier is a global health and sustainability specialist with over a decade of international managerial experience across Germany, Austria, Canada, Dubai, Australia, and Singapore. Her expertise lies at the intersection of climate change, health impacts, ESG issues, and ESG reporting, with a particular focus on the healthcare sector. She is currently pursuing doctoral research at the WHO Collaborating Centre for Climate Change and Health Impact Assessment. She has presented internationally on topics such as fast-food regulation, ESG and firm-level sustainability, and circular economy models in fashion, with engagements in Singapore, Dubai, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Australia. As an experienced educator, she has also delivered over 200 training sessions, led high-profile stakeholder engagements, and facilitated policy workshops with diverse stakeholders.

Early in his career, he held leadership roles with multinational corporations such as Procter & Gamble, Hewlett-Packard, British Telecoms, IBM, Oracle, and Microsoft. Since 2015, he has focused on consultancy, partnering with business leaders to navigate complex markets and develop sustainable, future-ready ventures. A certified expert consultant and capacity builder, he has designed and delivered executive programmes, leadership workshops, and sustainability strategy sessions for diverse industries. Drawing on deep knowledge of Singapore’s corporate governance and sustainability requirements and international best practices, Mr. Siew equips organisations to embed sustainability into core business models. In his capacity as an educator, he has also lectured at NTU, NUS, SMU and KAIST University in South Korea.

His expertise lies in the early stages of the energy transition—designing sustainability strategies, modelling decarbonisation pathways, and delivering cost-effective solutions for emissions reduction and operational efficiency. He has worked extensively with leading research collaborations, including the Sustainable Built Environment National Research Centre, the CRC for Low Carbon Living, and RACE for 2030, delivering practical, evidence-based insights that drive effective decarbonisation and future-ready business transformation. He also advises governments, industries, and communities on adopting low-carbon technologies and sustainable mobility solutions with experience across transport, mining, and heavy industry. He has a Bachelor’s in ocean engineering & naval architecture and a Master’s in engineering management from Florida Institute of Technology, and a PhD in sustainability policy from Curtin University.
